Creative Beginnings for Colorful Futures
HOPKINTON INTEGRATED PRESCHOOL IS ACCEPTING
APPLICATIONS FOR THE PRESCHOOL LOTTERYHopkinton Integrated Preschool is now accepting lottery applications through February 1, 2019 for enrollment during the 2019-2020 school year. This is a lottery for students who turn 3 years of age between September 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019. We will accept applications for students who will be 4 years old prior to August 31, 2019 and generate a waiting list through the lottery. However, please note that there are fewer 4-year old openings compared to 3-year old openings. If your child is selected through the lottery to attend as a 3-year old, he/she is automatically guaranteed a spot in the program as a 4-year old. You must be a Hopkinton resident to register for the lottery.
Please complete an Application for Admittance into the Lottery online no later than February 1, 2019. Click here to complete a lottery application. The Public (locally televised) lottery will be held on February 7, 2019 at approximately 6:40-6:45pm.
If you have any question about the Hopkinton Integrated Preschool lottery, please contact Kim Sullivan, Preschool Coordinator at Kisullivan@hopkinton.k12.ma.us
If your child has qualified for Special Education services, please use the register link in the banner heading to register your child with the Hopkinton Public Schools.
Dear Preschool Families,
After careful review of our preschool programming, we have determined that our high-quality programming is not dependent upon participating in the NAEYC accreditation process. The NAEYC Early Learning Standards and Accreditation Criteria & Guidance for Assessment are already strong in our program, and the NAEYC stands in the midst of an accreditation transition year.
Currently, our program fosters positive relationships with students and families as well as collaboration among colleagues both within the preschool program and beyond. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is aligned with MA DESE Curriculum Frameworks. Our teachers are highly qualified. Assessment is ongoing and informs instruction. Our pediatric first aid trained staff promote a healthy and safe environment to support students. Our staff are continuous learners who regularly engage in professional development to enhance their own educational growth. Our program establishes home-school connections with families and the community, which best supports students. Our program is led by educators with an early childhood background. In fact, we would prefer to independently grow each of these criteria, rather than to spend months quantifying our execution of these criteria.
As such, we are confident that our high quality preschool program will continue to thrive given our commitment to early childhood education in the Hopkinton Public Schools. If families have questions or concerns, they can reach out to Dr. Zaleski or Mrs. Dubeau. Every child’s social, emotional, behavioral, and academic growth is at the center of all that we do.
