  • Welcome to Team Glacier.   I am Mrs. Pendleton and I'll be your teacher this year. Our classroom is located on the second floor in room 204.
Our switch class is Mrs. Tortorella and Mrs. Clark. You will be studying Social Studies with Mrs. Tortorella.  You'll take "virtual" tours of the regions of the United States.
What are our specials and when are they?
We have a different special throughout the week - music, art, gym (x2), technology, guidance, health, and library.  You will get a schedule during the first week. On gym days be sure to wear sneakers (or keep a pair at school.)

  • What our work looks like for the year ahead.

     * Our work in fourth grade is IMPORTANT! *

Believe in yourself!  You must have an I CAN DO IT attitude!  With adequate effort and practice you will be successful!  I will NOT GIVE UP on you. "We are in this together," is our school motto this year!  We will be focusing on being curious and focused learners.
Learning how to organize our materials, being prepared and ready to learn,  organizing and writing our ideas, speaking in front of an  audience, treating others respectfully, doing our best, and becoming good  listeners are just some of the goals for 4th grade. I will offer students an opportunity to express their creativity and unique personalities  through various projects, assignments and classroom activities.  As we make our way through the curriculum we will be learning more about  ourselves and helping each other become confident members of a classroom  community.  My hope is that you will enjoy coming to school each day, accept responsibility for yourself and your obligations, and be  honest with me.   If we all try our best and work together we will have a successful year.  Let's share in our successes and grow with the challenges ahead.
