Device Management and Security

Welcome to Device Management and Security.

Here you will find how we deploy our devices across the district, some basic settings we use for each grade level as well as how we keep user data filtered and secure. Please click on the tabs below to discover more information.

Ipads K- 1st Grade

Our district Apple devices are managed in-house using a product called Jamf Pro, which allows us to push out customized settings and approved educational applications. iPad repairs are taken care of on-site by our Apple Certified Mac Technicians.

Chromebooks Grades 2-8

Our Chromebooks are managed in-house via Relay and Google Admin Console. This allows for flexible content filtering and application distribution based on grade level, classroom, or even per user.

1:1 Student Macbooks 9-12

We've been noticing an increase in the amount of phishing attempts and malware variants circulating for MacOS, so we have put together some documentation to assist you in identifying these kinds of threats and to help keep you and your data protected.

Security Tips/Best Practices

While we are constantly increasing our security measures to help prevent these attempts from reaching users, the security landscape is constantly evolving and it's important to familiarize yourself with what to look out for and to remain alert.

Our Lease to Own and Daily Use devices at the HS, as well as all of our district Apple devices are managed in house using a product called Jamf Pro. MacBook repairs are also taken care of on site by our Apple Certified Mac Technicians. Student MacBooks are protected via Sophos and content is filtered using out Lightspeed Mobile filter.
