Crowdfunding, defined as any online service used for the solicitation of goods, services, or money from a large number of people via the internet or other electronic network (Examples include GoFundme, Kickstarter, Indiegogo, YouCaring, and DonorsChoose), is not permitted in Hopkinton Public Schools.
In times of extenuating circumstances an appeal may be made to the Superintendent.
Teachers may use online communication tools such as Sign-Up Genius or email to solicit consumable classroom supplies (i.e., tissues, Post-It Notes), from parents and guardians
