School Lunch Menus
The Hopkinton Food Service Department has been undergoing countless changes this summer to better improve our services for our students and community.
One major change that will be coming this fall, is the implementation of new menus, recipes and products. The department is currently redeveloping their menu concepts to better meet the needs of our students and ensure they are in compliance with the strict nutrition standards set forth by the Healthy, Hunger- Free Act of 2010. Once the menus have been finalized, they will be posted here for all to view/print.
We are in the process of creating a new, interactive digital menu platform! While we work on it, please take a look at our calendar style menus listed below. Also note that there are "Alternative Meal Menus" that correspond with the regular monthly menu as well.
What to look for this upcoming school year:
Implementation of the MA Harvest of the Month Program in all of our cafeterias; Highlighting a locally grown crop monthly by providing nutrition education, new recipes & menu items, along with taste testing
New, student- approved recipes and menu items
More emphasis on food quality, appearance and acceptability
New alternative cycle menu options for all grade levels
Specialty/Theme Meals throughout the year
Scratch Cooking/Homemade Items
