Isaac Brody teaches Chorus, Strings, Guitar and Music Technology at Hopkinton High School. Mr. Brody received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting and Music Education from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, NJ. He has extensive performance experience both vocally and as a violist. As a member of the Westminster Choir and the Westminster Symphonic Choir, he performed with orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, the San Francisco Symphony, and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, under conductors including Kurt Mazur, Sir Roger Norrington, Ton Koopman, and Michael Tilson-Thomas. Mr. Brody was the Principal Violist for the Michigan Pops, played in the University of Michigan Philharmonia Orchestra, the Brookline Symphony Orchestra, and has been a violist for opera orchestras for the University of Michigan, the Comic Opera Guild in Ann Arbor, MI, and the Boston Opera Collaborative.
