Dr. Jonahan Landman reports: NESDEC projects a steady, slow decline in the Hopkinton Public Schools’ student population over the next ten years. This year, the district’s October 1 enrollment total is 3414, a drop of 40 from last year. The projections anticipate a consistent fall in enrollment each year of between 44 and 117 per year, with a projected total enrollment of 2722 in 2021 – 20% lower than our current student population.
