Outlook: The squad has been basically completely turned over with the J.V. team from a year ago that only lost one game serving as the nucleus of this year’s squad.

Early returns have already shown that scoring will come far easier this year as opposed to last year when the Wolverines only scored 11 goals for the entire year. James Strong and Omar Hadzipasic have already combined to score five of the six goals in the opening two wins.

The injury bug has already struck the Wolverines with Baldwin, McDonough, McQuillan and Baryudin having already missed time with various bangs and bruises of varying degrees. The Wolverines are going have an idea where they stand in the Tri-Valley League tonight when they host Medfield, which once again figures to be among the top teams in the league.

Coach Sanchez: ”This team worked so hard during the off-season, they remind me a lot of the team that I had two years ago, a tremendous work rate. I think we are going to get better and better as the season goes along.”
