NORTON 3 MEDWAY 1 - Kam Campbell and Mike Kelly were clicking for the Norton Lancers, who scored twice on deep throw-ins in the first half in defeating Medway 3-1 on Thursday night.

Campbell let loose a deep throw just a minute and a half into the game that Kelly got his head on to make the score one nothing, and the duo repeated the feat 30 minutes into the game to make it 2-0.

"We haven't had as much success as we've wanted to (on those plays)," Norton coach Eric Greene said. "I think it's just a classic case of repetition where it finally came together this game. They were phenomenal throws and textbook heading by Mike (Kelly)."

After Medway cut the lead in half, Kelly made it a hat trick when he converted on a penalty kick with ten minutes left to increase his season goal total to seven, tying him for the team lead.

The Lancers (8-3-4) welcome Medfield on Tuesday.
