This is what scientists think Venus might look like if we could see through its thick atmosphere.		This is what Venus looks like from space. The thick atmosphere makes it look very peaceful. Under the atmosphere though is a different story - Venus is a nasty place to be!
This is a radar image of Venus. The blue areas are low ground. The green and brown areas are higher land and mountains.		This picture is of Venus' surface. We don't have many pictures of Venus' surface; most of the spacecraft we have landed on Venus are crushed or destroyed in a few minutes by Venus' temperature and atmosphere.
