I am a Robotics and Engineering Teacher at a Hopkinton High School. I am also the Technology/Engineering Subject Matter Leader for grades 6-12 in the Hopkinton Public Schools. I have was always been a lifelong inventor and maker at heart. My 12+ year teaching career sprung from my coaching experiences in hockey and lacrosse, which have been instrumental in helping me motivate students through rigorous inventive processes. Hopkinton is an exciting place to develop a technology and engineering program that offers students positive experiences that inspire. Outside of Hopkinton I am proud to be affiliated with the Lemelson MIT program as a Master Teacher to help promote invention based education opportunities for teachers and students across the country. I was excited to attend the White House Science Fair with former students affiliated with the LMIT program. While not teaching and getting students interested in innovation, I enjoy time with my wife and daughter.
